Because of this many companies stopped their exports and services to Russia. The sanctions include restrictions on foreign transactions to Russian banks. Because of this two US based digital wallet platforms Apple Pay and Google Pay services are suspended in Russia. West banned some Russian banks from the swift system ( Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication ). Russia's five largest banks are affected from this decision.
