INTEL 13th gen??
A few days ago we brought about Intel's new plans for this year (link for that post https://tomorrowoftechnology.blogspot.com/2022/01/amd-vs-intel-in-2022.html). But we are going to bring you is a surprising news
Biostar which is a Taiwanese computer hardware manufacturing company has reportedly registered with the ECC (Eurasian Economic Commission) for its latest Intel 13th gen Motherboard.
With the names Biostar Z790 Valkyrie, Z790 Racing GTA, and Z790-A Silver,
it is doubtful whether Intel will have to buy the latest motherboards for the next generation.
Intel released its 12th generation CPU at the end of 2021. At the same time they mentioned that they have started testing their next Raptor lake Generation. At the same time, Intel said that it will release the 13th generation Intel at the end of 2022. It is surprising and problematic to go for a motherboard change in such a short time.
The main reason for these new CPUs to go to new chipsets or motherboards is the DLVR (Digital Linear Voltage Regulator) feature in the intel Raptor lake CPU.
Through this, Intel is trying to provide more performance under a lower voltage.
The 13th generation Intel Raptor lake CPU includes up to 24 cores and high speed DDR 5 RAM support.
However, since the current LGA 1700 Socket is used for this.
I still have no idea if this 13th gen CPU will be backward compatible with 12th gen motherboards.
If you are curious about DLVR use this link to learn about that.( https://videocardz.com/newz/intel-raptor-lakes-digital-linear-voltage-regulator-dlvr-could-reduce-cpu-power-up-to-25) use this link for that.
