PUBG for PC is now FREE

At the recent 2021 Game Awards, Krafton announced that the first Player Unknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) computer game is available for free play from January 12, 2022.

Released via Steam as an early access version in year 2017, PUBG quickly became hugely popular all around the world. Because of this popularity, other companies such as Epic Games also developed the Battle Royale type of computer game.
Fortnite: Battle Royale is a computer game developed in this way.
It has become a extremely popular computer game because of its ability to be played for free.
These are the reasons why Call of Duty developers Activision Blizzard even developed a Battle Royale type of game that can be played for free.

PUBG is now available for free from January 12, but some features in the game will be locked.
An account upgrade option called "Battlegrounds Plus" that unlocks ranked and custom match modes,special in-game items and more can be purchased for $ 12.99.
Krafton developers are ready to offer those who have already purchased PUBG a special "Commemorative Pack" with "Battlegrounds Plus" and other in-game items.

Despite competition from various quarters, the original PUBG game is still popular.
Dave Curd,creative director at Krafton, says that PUBG has sold over 75 million copies since its release. Developed by the same company, PUBG Mobile is the largest mobile game in the world. PUBG Mobile, which can be played for free,has been downloaded more than a billion times.
